Model 30 BLE 12 Bore

Now Sold

A fine example of a late 1940s Anson & Deeley boxlock ejector with a slightly rounded action that operates very sweetly. These Model 30 boxlocks were the mainstay of A.A.Browns production in the forties and fifties. Many were made, all by hand and a lot of them were exported to countries such as Australia and Japan. This one stayed in England and has served it’s owners for about 75 years with great reliability. Albert Arthur Brown, co founder, worked on the actioning of this gun personally and it remains as a testament to the quality of work being done in Birmingham at that time. It has had a recent re-cut of the chequering and a fresh oil finish on its nicely figured french walnut stock. It comes with a Brady pattern six canvas case with cleaning rod, tools and snap caps.
